Two Indian national vessels were involved in a fierce confrontation off the coast of Iran on July 12th. The ships were transporting cargo when they encountered threats from an unknown party.

The situation escalated rapidly, with both vessels being subjected to multiple missile attacks and gunfire assaults by the Iranian vessel. Despite their initial efforts to defend themselves, one Indian ship was eventually forced to abandon its pursuit of rescue operations and head towards safety, while the other continued its journey toward Oman's coast for assistance.

Following this encounter, ten Indian nationals on board the surviving vessel were successfully rescued by various international relief teams, including a team from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), who provided critical support to ensure their safe passage. The remaining individual, who was not onboard the rescue ship, managed to escape safely through other channels and is currently in good health.

Despite the intense naval confrontation, no casualties have been reported on either vessel. Both parties involved are now awaiting further instructions from international maritime authorities regarding their next steps. However, concerns over potential diplomatic ramifications of such incidents continue to linger in the region as tensions remain high between India and Iran.
